Scramble Campbell has been dedicated to capturing the power of live music at concerts and music festivals worldwide. He’s done over 2500 paintings incapsulating the energy of the live music experience over the past 25 years. He documents with his paintbrush, instead of using a camera, he uses a canvas. Scramble Campbell is the show within the show. The music moves him, dancing furiously as his paint splashes. He jabs layers of color onto his canvas to conjure his vision, ending each show with an original and explosive portrayal of the live concert experience.
350 paintings at Red Rocks Amphitheatre since 2000.
200 paintings live with String Cheese Incident since 1999
He will be painting live during each night of String Cheese Incident. If you are interested in one of these paintings, please talk to us in the Gallery or at Scramble’s paint station.
Scramble Campbell’s 11th Annual 3D Art Experience Part II will feature these paintings as well as his newest paintings just created at the Grateful Dead Fare The Well Final Shows in Chicago July 3, 4 & 5th.
