  • Red Rocks Park is open to the public from one hour before sunrise to one hour after sunset every day of the year.
  • On concert days the amphitheatre usually closes to the public after lunch (around 2 p.m.) for sound checks and other operations. However, the amphitheatre may be closed to the public at any time on a day when a concert is scheduled. Occasionally, the amphitheatre may be closed to the public on a non-concert day for a private function such as a rehearsal.
  • The standard time for the Box Office to open is four hours prior to show time and is open day of show only. Please check your event on our calendar for door time.
  • Access to the amphitheatre is subject to scheduled events. Ticket may be required for admittance.
  • Visitor Center Hours: 7 AM-7 PM (March-October) | 8 AM-4 PM (November-February)
  • Trading Post Hours: 9 AM-6 PM (March-October) | 9 AM-5 PM (November-February)

Ticketing

  • The Red Rocks concert season runs from March through November. Events for the season are typically announced individually, starting as early as August of the previous year and as late as a few weeks prior to the event. Sign up to receive concert alerts here.
  • AXS is the ticketing provider for Red Rocks and other City of Denver venues. Please visit the Event Calendar to purchase tickets online for a specific event. Using the “Tickets” button will take you to the ticketing page for each event.
  • AXS Mobile Delivery is digital ticketing technology and the only admission method at Red Rocks. It eliminates paper tickets and allows you to enter the venue with your AXS Mobile ID and manage your tickets digitally.
  • Please note that tickets purchased in Rows 1-4 are non-transferable, meaning they must be used by the original purchaser. Promoters may expand the non-transferable seating beyond Row 4 on a show-by-show basis, so refer to your order to determine if your seats are transferable. For fans with non-transferable tickets, the original purchaser MUST arrive with the entire ticketed party and present an AXS Mobile Delivery-approved credential. Photo ID may be required at any time within the venue.
  • If tickets are still available, you can usually purchase them at the Red Rocks Box Office. The Box Office opens four hours before show start time. It is located on Red Rocks Park Road (Entrance 2).
  • The City of Denver offers AXS ticket outlet services at the Coliseum Box Office on Saturdays from 11 AM-3 PM. Click here for important information about outlet sales.
  • Events at Red Rocks Amphitheatre are all ages. Generally, children under 2 years old do not need a ticket. They must sit on the lap of an adult and not interfere with someone else’s seat.
  • Due to security issues, once you enter the venue and your ticket has been scanned, you cannot leave the show and re-enter. Re-entry is only permitted in weather-related or medical emergencies.
  • Visit our Ticketing Information page for additional details.

Weather
